Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Email address — used to identify your account and send magic-link sign-in emails.
• Subscription status — stored via Stripe so we know your plan.
• Usage counts — we count words dictated per week to enforce the free plan limit. We do not store the content of your dictations on our servers.
• Custom dictionary — the terms you add are synced to our servers so they're available across app reinstalls.

What we don't collect

• Audio — your microphone audio is streamed for transcription and immediately discarded. We never store it.
• Transcripts — final transcripts are stored only on your device (for the History feature). They never leave your Mac unless you explicitly copy and paste them somewhere.

Third-party services

• Deepgram — processes your audio for transcription. Audio is streamed over an encrypted connection and not retained by Deepgram beyond the session. See deepgram.com/privacy.
• Anthropic — processes transcripts for cleanup and tone rewrite. Inputs are not used to train models. See anthropic.com/privacy.
• Stripe — handles payment processing. We never see your card number. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Supabase — hosts our database. Data is stored in the US (us-east-1). See supabase.com/privacy.

Data retention

We keep your account data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@YOUR_DOMAIN. We'll delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
